Cardiopulmonary Services

The Cardiopulmonary Team at Pioneers Hospital provides optimum care in maintaining preventative and restorative health needs for our pulmonary and cardiac patients. We provide quality conscious, cost effective and competent care with respect for life and dignity at every state of the human experience.

Under the direction of the Cardiopulmonary Manager and Medical Advisor, professionals are involved with every aspect of pulmonary diagnostics and treatment whether it be life support due to an acute injury or maintenance therapy for those with chronic pulmonary disease. Our patient population includes, newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

In addition to our comprehensive inpatient care we offer an outpatient program that includes testing such as EKG’s, sleep studies, pulmonary lung function testing, exercise treadmill studies and cardiac rehabilitation. Asthma Education for pediatrics and adults is also available.

The Cardiopulmonary Team is comprised of Registered and Certified Respiratory Therapists who are credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care and licensed by the State of Colorado. Pioneers Hospital maintains the highest patient care standards, state of the art equipment and staff available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week to help you and your family breathe easy.
